Grammar 1 chapter 7 Woorden die in het Engels altijd meervoud zijn (in het Nederlands niet): spijkerbroek = jeans (lange) broek = pants / trousers korte broek = shorts onderbroek = panties boxershorts = boxers panty = stockings / tights legging = leggings pyjama = pyjamas DUS alles wat je om je twee aparte benen doet (een rok dus niet!!!) Naast kledingstukken zijn ook deze dingen altijd meervoud in het Engels: bril = glasses zonnebril = sunglasses schaar = scissors

  7. Grammar 1 chapter 7 Let op bij het vertalen van een zin: een bril = glasses Heb jij een bril? = do you have glasses? Ik kan hem niet vinden = I can’tfindthem. DUS alle woorden in de zin die verwijzen naar ‘bril’ moet je ook in het meervoud zetten!!!
