Goal: To promote and develop the Regional Disaster Response Team’s skills, capacity and role in Water and Sanitation Emergency Response thereby effectively and efficiently assisting the most vulnerable Course Introduction
To enhance the Federation’s emergency responsecapacity in Asia Pacific in the Water and Sanitation sector; To train RDRT participants from Asia Pacific and increase their technical skills and knowledge in Water and Sanitation; To enhance RDRTs knowledge on global water and sanitation response tools; To train participants to work as a Red Cross team To harmonize cooperation and coordination skills with global response tools and other Movement components and external partners Objectives
