Introduction • e-NotaryInformation System • Authentication through ID-Card • Designed to be used in notaries offices • Ca. 60 notaries offices, 100 notaries and 500 other users • Land Register Information System • Full interoperability since June 2007 • Used in Land Registry departments • 4 county courts, 13 registration departments, 60 assistant judges • RIK • We develop, manage and teach

Interoperability Procedure • Notary does electronically • Enquiries to Land Register • Data import to the contract (deed) and the preparation • Signing the copy of the contract • Sending the application with the contract to Land Register • Land Register does electronically • The registrar receives the application: • META data (participants, objects, state fee, …) • The contract • Assistant judge makes an entry to the Land Register • The decision is sent automatically back to the e-Notary
