LAND USE • Country total surface: 131 990 sq km • Forests surface : 25 124 sq km (19%) • Partly forested land: 32 421,4 sq km (24.6%) • Friganic ecosystems: 2 773, 135 sq km (2.1%) • Αlpic ecosystems: 4 400, 577 sq km (3.3%) • Medows: 17 555, 073 sq km (13.3%) • Wetlands-lakes-rivers: 2 728, 620 sq km (2.1%) • Fallow land: 7 348, 513 sq km (5.6%) • Total planted surface: 39 638, 500 sq km(30%)
