Overview • Ski area located in Glenwood, NY • Ski school has over 200 instructors with thousands of customers each year • Current system • Instructors hand in index cards after each lesson with their name, date, time, ability of group, and customers names • Used for keeping track hours for employees and resolving any discrepancies in payroll

DatabaseOpportunity/Value • Stores customer and instructor data for future access • Provides relevant reports that increase management efficiency • Payroll • Availability • Marketing • Feedback • Pay-rate accuracy • Streamlines data storage and creates opportunities for data that was previously unused
