  4. Educational Environment • 9200 schools (Primary , College and high school) • Primary schools : 6 levels , from 6yo to 12 yo; • College: 3 levels, from 13 yo to 15 yo; • high school : 3 levels, from 16 yo to 18 yo. • 230000 teachers • 7000000 pupils • Duration of compulsory education : 9 years

Educational Environment • Public/Private • 16 “Education and Training Regional Academies” which include 72 “delegations”. • Mathematics and sciences are taught in Arabic until 12th level (Baccalaureat) • At the high school, pupils can choose different paths (literature, sciences, mathematic sciences, technical sciences, agriculture, economics, …) Moroccan regions
