  2. Diagnostic • Affection cutanée très contagieuse due à phtirius pubis ou Pou du pubis (alias Morpion en argot). A considérer comme MST. • Plaintes: Prurit pubien, le patient voit des insectes qui se baladent sur ses poils… • A l’examen: - Tâches bleuâtres, - Lésions de grattage, - Inspection attentive de la peau : isolement du parasite? À rechercher à la base des poils parfois à distance du pubis.

  3. Inspection à la loupe

Traitement • Malathion (Prioderm) inefficace. • Spray Pax : une pulvérisation suffit à détruire l’ensemble des poux. • Pulvériser sur l’ensemble de la région pileuse, Laisser en contact pendant 30 minutes puis laver au savon et rincer abondamment. • Traiter le partenaire sexuel. • Laver la literie, les vêtements et sous-vêtements. • Proposer un bilan de MST.
