Big Dream: Impacting 100,000 Teenagers in Greater New York by 2016

DESCRIPTION

Our vision for the Greater New York Division aims to reach and positively impact 100,000 teenagers over five years (2011-2016). In the last school year, we reached 18,538 kids, an increase of 2,145 from the previous year. We’ve successfully grown our volunteer leaders from 277 to 459 and have added 31 new staff positions by October 2013. With $10 million in cash gifts and 4,000 summer camp spots, including 1,649 campers this summer, we're expanding our outreach with new ministries across the region, including various high schools and universities.

  2. Big Dream: Reach 100,000 more teenagers in the Greater New York Division over the next 5 years (between 2011 and 2016).

  3. 100,000Kids impacted

  4. We impacted 18,538 kids this school year. That’s 2,145 more kids impacted than last school year.

  5. 500New Volunteer Leaders

  6. Since June 2010 we have grown from 277 to 459 leaders.

  7. 50New Staff

  8. We will have added 31 new staff positions by October of 2013

  9. $10 Million

  10. RWOK cash gifts/ pledges/ commitments since 2011: $8.5 Million

  11. 4,000 Summer Camp Spots

  12. This summer we brought 1135 Senior High Kids to camp. We brought 514WyldLife kids to camp. That is a total of 1649 campers this summer.

  13. 100New Ministries

  14. Since June 2010 we have grown from 98 to 118 ministries.
