  10. Sultex at ITMA 2007Rapier Weaving Machine G6500 • Unbeatable flexibility

  11. Sultex at ITMA 2007Rapier Weaving Machine G6500 • Industry benchmark in: • Woolen & worsted fabrics • Dress & neckwear • Upholstery / car seats • Protective clothing (Aramid fibres) • Airbag (Flat & OPW) • Benefits: • Top quality (new rapier technology) • High productivity (700 rpm) • Convincing economics (high yield)

  12. Sultex at ITMA 2007Active Rapier Technology • Active Rapier Technology ART means: • ART Weft Cutter – pneumatic system, freely programmable cutting point for each weft • ART Active Inserting Clamp – active movements in the rapier head during clamping (left) and transfer (center) without elements protruding in the warp • ART Anti-Loop – secure transfer system for coarse weft yarns • ART Receiving Rapier Head – parallel system, for coarse and multiple weft insertions • Optimum color selection through special geometry of fingers: virtually no difference between weft #1 and weft #n • ART retains the advantages of the flexible, traditional rapier system while enhancing the range of insertable weft yarns to (and beyond) the levels of the ‘positive’ rapier system: free mixability with just one machine setting  active insertion

  13. Sultex at ITMA 2007Rapier Weaving Machines G6500 at ITMA • G6500 S 260 N8 RSPSail cloth • G6500 B 200 F8 JSouvenir Towel • G6500 S190 N4 SPAramid fabric (Twaron) • G6500 B190 N8 SPHigh speed application • G6500 S 150 N8 JLabels

Sultex at ITMA 2007Projectile Weaving Machine P7300HP • Industry benchmark in: • High-end / fashion Denim • Floor coverings • Coating fabrics (> 4m) • Geotextiles • Agrotextiles • Benefits: • Low cost operation (low energy consumption) • Increase in material yield (less wastage) • Quick turn around

  22. Sultex at ITMA 2007Active Projectile System • Active Projectile System APS means: • Active weft transfer to the projectile geometrically defined • Fully controlled and geometrically defined weft insertion • Weft beat-up with constant weft tension • Weft yarn is fully stretched during weft insertion • Weft tensioner movement to minimize weft waste • Selvedge Saver and tucked selvedge to minimize selvedge waste • High flexibility regarding weft material • Controlled multiple weft insertion up to 4 colors • Active yarn control during and after weft insertion
