  2. On the Road to Damascus Jesus provides: • A new perspective (1-9).

  3. On the Road to Damascus If anyone else thinks he has reason for confidence in the flesh, I have more: circumcised on the eighth day, of the people of Israel, of the tribe of Benjamin, a Hebrew of Hebrews; as to the law, a Pharisee;

  4. On the Road to Damascus as to zeal, a persecutor of the church; as to righteousness under the law, blameless. Philippians 3:4b-6

  5. On the Road to Damascus Jesus provides: • A new perspective (1-9). • A new identity (10-19a). • A new mission (19b-31).

  6. On the Road to Damascus Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I do my share on behalf of His body, which is the church, in filling up what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions. Of this church I was made a minister…

  7. On the Road to Damascus …so that I might fully carry out the preaching of the word of God…so that we may present every man complete in Christ. For this purpose also I labor, striving according to His power, which mightily works within me. Colossians 1:24-29

  8. On the Road to Damascus I have fought the good fight, I have finished the course, I have kept the faith; in the future there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day. 2 Timothy 4:6-8a
