NCSU & MCNC Demonstration of Advanced Network Management and Traffic Scenarios

This demo presents a series of experiments conducted by NCSU and MCNC on a testbed featuring distinct topologies such as 100M and 10M bandwidth configurations. Key scenarios include analyzing background traffic flooding to simulate Denial of Service (DoS) attacks, reserving bandwidth through RSVP, and testing policy server verifications for resource acquisition. Additionally, the demonstration includes real-time video analysis with BE and EF markings, TCP and UDP traffic evaluations, and monitoring of DiffServ networks through statistical analysis, showcasing advanced network management strategies.
