ISAS, NASDA organization merged into JAXA • NASDA represented CCSDS member organization in Japan • CCSDS observer organization: ISAS, CRL • JAXA was established in October, 2003 • ISAS, NASDA and NAL (National Aeronautics Laboratory) were merged into a JAXA entity. • Former ISAS, NASDA and NAL function transferred to JAXA • NASDA Technical Review Panel for CCSDS will also be integrated with ISAS CCSDS function • CRL newly formed as NICT (National Institute of Information and Communications Technology) continuously participate in the CCSDS • CCSDS associates will maintain same membership in Japan

JAXA CCSDS Implementation Status • Latest JAXA satellite has been adopting the AOS and Telecommand standard • JAXA ground network provides the Telecommand and AOS compatible capability, and recursive development and operations are underway • SLE gateway which consists of Provider GW and User GW has been developed since 2003 and its goal will be 2005 (Provider GW), and 2006 (User GW)
