Follow national channels for Relay For Life, the American Cancer Society, National Collegiate Relay For Life & CAC – share content! • Connect – direct your community back to great content on our national websites: RelayForLife.org, Cancer.org, RelayNation.org #GeekWeek

Highlight survivors, caregivers, team captains and participants. • Recognize top performers – Top Teams, Grand Club members, etc. • Share fundraising ideas. • Ask questions to your community – get them to engage with your posts! • Include direct calls to action -- ask!   12. Important Notes to Remember! • You are representing the American Cancer Society with each post! Ensure accuracy, professionalism, check for grammar/typos/autocorrect, etc. (Review posts with your staff partner!) • Medical & Scientific content should ONLY be shared from national American Cancer Society or Relay For Life channels. • Recommended character limits for posts: • 250 for Facebook, • 120 for Twitter • Frequency of posts: • FB: anywhere from 1-2 posts per week to daily. (Could tolerate more around event) • Twitter: Every other day, daily, or 2-3 per day… know your audience! #GeekWeek

Monitor and Respond • Positive Interactions: • Cultivate relationships – be sincere, relatable, and honest. • Provide excellent customer service • Build your community • Negative Commentary: • Do not respond. • Do not hide or delete. • Contact your staff partner immediately • Spam: • May be hidden, reported as spam, or deleted. #GeekWeek
