  2. What is Socialism? • It can be referred to numerous theories of economic organization that can be the upholder of either public work or direct.

  3. Important People • Claude Henri de Rouvroy • He was one of the earliest founders of Socialist in the 19th century. He felt that men of science should be the leaders of society.

  4. Etc. • Karl Marx • He believed that Socialism would take over capitalism, to point out a classless society that everyone back then was graded depended on their wealth.

  5. MORE people  • Karl Liebknecht & Rose Luxemburg • He was a German socialist, and a co-cofounder with Rosa Luxemburg, who was also a socialist. • He’s while known for the Spartacist uprising, the uprising was then crushed by the social democrat government • They were both killed, but after death they were noticed and became icons in the religious views for Marxists.

  7. Behind Socialism • Socialism isn't concentrated on philosophy of a doctrine and programme, its braches defending a degree of social interventionism and economic rationalisation (form of economic planning), but may intervene with each other.

Types of Socialism • It can range from a specific type of society, a philosophical outlook, and a collection of ideas and values. • Socialist allow the people to help make decisions regarding the goods and services to be made, they give an oppurtunity to make what we think is right for us, as opposed to them making it by themselves.

  9. Organizations • Second International • an organization of socialist and labour parties formed in Paris on July 14th, 1889. • Actions like International Workers Day • International Women's Day
