What is NARIMS? • NARIMS =National Agriculture Research Information Management System. www.arc.sci.eg • It is a Web based bi-lingual information system aimed at capturing and disseminating information about: • Research institutions • Researchers of those institutions • Publications issued by those researchers • Projects done or currently active • National Agriculture and Veterinary research plan in Egypt • It consists of: • Backend that enables data management • Front-end that enables data browsing and searching

  15. Blended Learningthe best of both worlds… IMARK lessons are being adapted for use in face-to-face (F2F) training. IMARK modules are provided in advance of workshops to ensure that trainees acquire some basic knowledge prior to F2F training, harmonising the level of understanding. The IMARK online community allows trainees to continue to work together after the training sessions.
