  4. VISION By year 2009, the Nacional network, as a group leader y referent, Promotes dign and sustainable employment generation, incides in public youth employability and emprendibility policies, potentatingits social capital and Contributing to a sustainable development.

  5. MISION To generate consensuses, articulate actions y propose concrete guidelines about policies and strategies on youth laboral employability and emprendibility initiatives coordinating inter-institutional efforts at municipal, regional, nacional and internacional level.

  8. STRATEGIC ACTIONS A. Promote employment creation (self-employment, cooperativism, microenterprises, etc.) within the youth laboral market. B. Incorporate the topic “Youth Employability y Emprendibility” in the Municipal, Department and Central Governments’ Agenda.

  9. C.Promote in youth the eco – entrepreneurship culture, cooperative principles and values, social responsability, integrity and volunteerism. D. Foster the training of youth laboral force, aiming at increasing the human capital. E. Strenghthen the Paraguay YES Network, especially the Departmental Nuclei.

Juventud en cifras • Un@ de cada cuatro paraguay@s ttiene entre 15 y 29 años: 1.527.435 personas (26,2%) • 43 % de l@s menores de 15 años están debajo de la línea de pobreza. • 29% de l@s jóvenes de 15 a 25 años están debajo de la línea de pobreza • Un@ de cada cuatro jóvenes trabaja y estudia • 40% trabaja menos de 48 horas por semana • Un/a trabajador/a joven sin educación gana el 16% del sueldo de un/a joven con educación • Los motivos familiares y la búsqueda de trabajo constituyen las razones principales de migración

  12. Purpose To generate and strenghthen self-managed employment, that are sustainable and dignifying low income Young men and women between ages 15 a 29 years.

INDICADORES A los 3 años de terminación del programa: * 1000 jóvenes mejoran su ingreso como mínimo en 200 U$S * 400 emprendimientos creados y en funcionamiento * 200 jóvenes trabajan en emprendimientos fortalecidos por el Programa * 100 jóvenes contratados por emprendimientos fortalecidos por el programa

  19. Es un aporte para que jóvenes paraguay@s, especialmente los que enfrentan la pobreza y la falta de opciones y trabajo, tengan un modo de vida digno, sostenible y más productivos. El viaje de mil millas comienza con un solo paso. - Lao Tsu

  20. Lo que compartimos ahora, es el resultado del trabajo de jóvenes paraguay@s, representantes, técnic@s y líderes de muchas instituciones que creen en la juventud, que creen que es posible emprender... y tener éxito!!!.

  21. Es un emprendimiento que da respuesta concreta al anhelo de más de 1600 jóvenes que han participado directamente en los Foros Departamentales de Consulta sobre Estrategias en el Área de Empleo en el marco de la Campaña Global YES.
