Entry-level jobs available to people with HS degrees and experience • Of the 18 firms responding, 11 indicated that a HS Diploma or equivalent was required for their entry-level, front-line jobs
Training Widely Provided • 11 out of 18 respondents provided some type of external or on-the-job training • Firms ranged between 10 and 160 hours • Average was 43 hours per year • Trainings were most widely provided for: First-line supervisors • Positions require most training hours: • Draftsman(avg. 160 hrs/year) • Plumber (avg. 80 hrs/year)
