  1. What Are The Different Types Of Camera Angles? Eye-Level: Shows subjects as we would expect to see them in real life. High Angle: Shoots the subject from above. Low Angle: Shoots the subject from below. Bird’s Eye: Used for dramatic effect or to show a different perspective. Slanted: Also known as dutch tilt because it is purposely tilted horizontally.

  7. Why should you be clear about the subject? You should always be clear about the subject of your picture because you don’t want to have unneeded space in your photo. It takes away from what you’re trying to capture.

  8. Why do you compose the entire frame and not just the subject? Some objects don't look good if you can't see the whole entire photo or at least a good percentage of it. If there is something distracting in the background, attempt to cut it out but not if the photo is cut in an uncomfortable way.

  9. Why use different camera angles? When the subject is a person, different angles can have a strong influence on how they are perceived. The different angels can show your subject in different ways.

  10. Why should you strive for balance? There are many types of balance in a photograph, for example, a mix of close and distant objects, a mix of lights and dark.. Etc. Poor balance is not usually good, for example; a photo with too much light and no contrast.

Why use lines for your composition? • Vertical lines emphasisestrength, power and height. • Horizontal lines emphasise width, stability and security. • Diagonal lines have a more dramatic, dynamic effect than vertical and horizontal. • Curved lines reflect nature, relaxation, sensuality, etc.
