  1. We can’t stop moving Everyone talks about a wireless life. But the reality is that we’re more tethered than ever. Take gaming. When is the last time you’ve been able to play anything with your arms folded? Wouldn’t it be cool if you could play a video game just like in real life… you know, jump up and down, flail your arms, and use regular body movements to control (and win) the game? No joystick, no controller, no wires. If this were possible, what else could a game do? …welcome to Omek

  2. Game Technology in Motion There has been a rapid development of new technologies that try to immerse the player ‘inside’ the game. Omek calls this new form of entertainment Motion Gaming. Several companies have entered the space with their respective answers to motion gaming, notably the successful Nintendo Wii. What’s missing is, well, not missing. Omek believes the best game controller is the human body. Let us illustrate… Real-time 3D motion capture of actual body movement 30MM sold 3D controller-based movements 9.5MM sold 2D foot pad control of 3D avatar 6.7MM sold Simple 2D video capture

  3. Freedom at Last… We invented a motion gaming technology that lets you control a video game with just your body movement. Tracking the human body in real time has been the goal of computer vision researchers for decades, and Omek built its Motion Game System technology from the ground up to achieve it. Imagine being able to control everything without touching anything. Free movement: The player moves freely and naturally as the camera tracks him. There are no mats, no controllers, no peripherals The Depth Camera: The camera generates depth maps of the player. These maps represent the distance between the player and the camera 3 4 1 1 2 3 4 2 Real-time Motion Capture: Omek’s revolutionary motion capture solution: Use the data from the camera to identify and track body parts and movements in real-time In the Game: Smoothly mirror the player’s movements onto the character—what you do your 3D avatar does onscreen.

  4. All It Takes Is a Game…or Two We are gamers and it’s at the heart of everything we do. We take our technology and develop games from the ground up (two games currently under development). Our working prototypes show the very best of what motion gaming can be.

  5. Thank you!
