  3. Blood Drive • The Blood drive will be held on Thursday in the Axu Gym. • All students who signed up to donate blood should have received their appointment slips. • Please see Ms. Mosley if you need to sign up or change your appointment time. • Remember to bring photo ID and drink plenty of fluids before donating.

  4. There will be an Italy trip meeting for all travelers and their parents on Wednesday, March 13 at 6pm in room 211.

  5. All ESL Students Mrs. Pomella will not be at Oakland Catholic today. Please report to your study hall.

  6. Attention seniors: • Wednesday in homeroom you will be voting for senior superlatives for the yearbook. • Ballots will be given to each homeroom teacher. • Please vote and return to your teacher right away. • Winners will be announced during spirit week. • Any questions see Mrs. Haslett

  7. Reminder: There is practice today after school for any girls performing in Dancing with the Vikings.   • Tuesday practices are moved to the Aux gym.   • Thursday practices will remain in the JOA theatre.

  9. The Junior Class Mass is this afternoon, during 8th and 9th periods. •  Juniors please report to your 8th period class and then come to the Chapel as a class after attendance.

  12. Attention Seniors • Please turn in your senior t shirt order forms and money by this Friday March 15th to your homeroom teachers.

  13. Volunteer opportunity at Bethlehem Haven Women's Shelter on Thursday after school (from 2:45 - 4:15).   • We will visit with the women and do a craft together.   • Please sign up with Ms. Farrell if you would like to come.  

  14. Congratulations to the Oakland Catholic fencing team, who came in second place in the tournament this year. • They lost to Fox Chapel but had a great season overall.

  15. Congratulations, Shea Shea Shovlin is a member of this year’s Miss Smiling Irish Eyes Court.

  16. Attention Sophomores - Class Rings: • The representative from Josten's will be here in the Study Area during lunch periods on Wednesday,  March 20th, to take orders for class rings.  • Information packets are being distributed in Homeroom today.   • A $50.00 deposit is needed to place your order. • Also, any junior or senior who would like to order a class ring can stop in the Main Office to pick up a packet.
