The Plugged-in Midlands initiative aims to support the UK's low carbon targets by promoting electric vehicles (EVs) and supporting charging infrastructure development. Government grants are available for electric cars covering up to 25% (max £5,000) and vans at 20% (max £8,000). The Plugged-in Places (PiP) scheme also provides funding for charging points, with grants up to 60% for domestic installations. With exciting new EV models and charging options, this initiative is vital for advancing sustainable transport in the Midlands.
