  7. Registration Details • Make sure your IP numbers are correct • Complete your e-mail address • When updating – include the name of the location • If you haven’t read the Introduction, please do before calling or e-mailing Office of Library Network Services/Arkansas State Library

Group RegistrationsWhy Not? • Will exclude a school from a restricted groups • There are only 8 K-12 schools in Arkansas • High schools counted for Gale contract are 6-12, 7-12, 8-12, 9-12 and K-12 schools recognized by Dept of Education, with one media center serving all grades • School names are checked against the Dept. of Education Directory • No separate statistics for use at individual schools • Register schools separately under district name Office of Library Network Services/Arkansas State Library

Important Details • You MUST notify ASL if you change personnel, e-mail, IP numbers, etc., NOTE: Use on-line forms, not e-mail • E-mail addresses are now mandatory • There may be a delay in services when changing IP numbers. • Arkansas isn’t the only client for the vendors, so specific dates for changes have been set Office of Library Network Services/Arkansas State Library

Traveler Calendar • March 22 – Network Advisory Committee meets • May 30 – Arkansas State Library Board meeting • Need to approve NAC recommendations • June 26 – Network Advisory Committee meets • Sept. 30 – New term for committee • 2 academic, 1 public, 1 school & 2 special representatives change • Federal year begins • Oct. 18 – Network Advisory Committee meets Office of Library Network Services/Arkansas State Library
