  1. ACTIVITYPLANNING: THE ISSUE The need for more transparent activity planning, particularly in the area of mobile and platform rigs and well services was stressed. It was suggested that a 12 to 18 month rolling plan, conducted by a third party such as Petrodata or Bassoe, providing data by operator, would assist. It was believed such data were available to each operator and companies should be encouraged to be responsive to contractors’ needs. Specifically: For efficient deployment of resources activity plans should be: Easier to access Segment specific Operator specific More accurate / frequently updated PP/57/01

Activity Plans: Segmentation • Seismic • Mobile Offshore Drilling Units (semis, jack up activity of any kind) • Well Intervention vessels • Platform Drilling and Workover Operations (with rotary rig) • Platform Workover Operations (non rotary work, CTD etc) • Surveys • Offshore Construction Subsea (pipelines, manifolds etc) • Offshore Construction Jackets, Topsides. Major Platform modification • Platform Production Operations (Operators, maintenance etc) • Platform Maintenance shutdown • Inspection Repair and Maintenance vessels PP/57/01

  3. Activity Plans: Visibility • 12 month, ideally 18 month, rolling plan • Min Quarterly, max monthly updates PP/57/01
