  1. Organizational Skills Organize your materials at home and at school. This means having a space for everything and putting everything in its space.

  2. Organizational Skills Use assignment sheets. Check them before the end of each school day.

  3. Organizational Skills Keep a calendar to remind yourself of long-term assignments. Make a habit to look at the calendar each day.

  4. Organizational Skills Set the texts necessary for homework out on the corner of your desk during the school day.

  6. Organizational Skills Use folders in appropriate ways. Always ask if your teacher requires folders and, if so, how they are to be used.

  8. Organizational Skills This includes planning what you will wear, getting notes and permission slips signed, and packing your bookbag with the things you will need.
