The Walloon ICT sector, opportunities… • Growing Business • 83% increase of the activity in 10 years • 17% increase of the employment in 10 years • The use of ICT can still make progress: • 65% of the Belgian SMEs utilisatrices do not have an IT strategy • 46% of the Walloon SMEs have an IT security policy • 12% of the Walloon SMEs are doing e-business • 17 % of the Walloon SMEs have an ERP. • Multiplier impact on other sectors • 40% the productivity growth in Europe since the mid 90th result from an ICT (Viviane REDING)
