Why Is The Lynx Endangered? Global warming is the main reason that the Lynx is going extinct. They live in snowy environments and global warming melts their habitats.

Additional Facts About the Lynx The name Lynx originated from the Greek word Lunx. They have short tails and their colors vary from goldish brown to beige white. They have very sharp teeth and their hunting skills are great.
