Agri.Plus, led by Weronika Łącka, showcases significant achievements in sustainability and food quality for the FY 2013. Key statistics include a sow population of 80,550, approximately 1.48 million heads sold, and around 460,000 tons of feed produced with 606 employees. We are proud to be ISO 14001 certified since 2005, with an emphasis on reducing environmental impact through biogas cooperation and stringent animal welfare practices. Our community initiatives in education and hunger relief further our commitment to making a positive impact.

Animal Care Goal: Keep our animal safe, comfortable and healthy. AWMS procedures implemented on all company and contract farms. Annually „animal welfare” audits. Compliance with „EU Pigs Directive” 100% group housing for sows and gilts. 100% farms comply withminimum floorrequirements. Each pig truck driver has license from veterinary authorities - ZERO accidents during animal transportation in FY2013.
Food safety • Goal: Delivery safe, high quality meat products with no recalls; • Farms: • Responsible usage of antibiotics in animal treatment. • Animal traceability system. • Feed mills: • Feeds delivered produced according ISO 22000:2005 • Wide range of feeds and raw materials analyzes • Developed supplier approval scheme.
Employees Goal: Reduce employee injury rates Safety: • Safety leaderships attended in 35 hours training. • Monthly Safety Scorecards implemented since September 2012. • Annual audits carried out in 26 localizations. • Employee average engagement in FY2013 on the level of 11,3%. Corporate target: 25% by FY 2015 Benefits and training: • Additional trainings and Management Training Program forveterinary. • Veterinary graduates take part in Murphy Brown job program. • Flu vaccination for all employees
Community Goal: Provide food to the needy and enhance education Hunger relief: • Donations for support feeding programs at schools. • Total FY2013 donations: 20.900$. Calculated food amount: 9500kg. Education: • Financial support of school supplies, children sports activities. • Agriculture education events – September 2012 in 3 schools. • World Water Monitoring Challenge: 4 locations with 100 school students engaged. • Clean Up Day –on April 2013.
Communication and recognition Goal:Increase awareness of our programs and achievements • Participation in EkoLaur environmental award program. • Smithfield environmental awards application: Feed mills air emission reduction project. • 2 spoken engagements for local authorities - April 2013 • Activity in meat trade associations and press publications. • Constant cooperation with local authorities and financial support.
