  1. College Freshman My freshman year of college was the biggest learning experience of my life thus far. I’ve come a long way since that first day of class and I can’t wait to continue my college experience.

  2. The Valleys I was so excited to move into my dorm. I was a little upset that I didn’t get to room with my best friends but I Was still excited to get away from home. I was one of the many unfortunate freshman to be placed in The Valley’s. I’d heard how bad it was but I had no idea. These are by far the furthest dorms from main campus.

  3. First Day of Classes My classes started off pretty chaotic. I missed a whole day of classes all because I didn’t know that TR meant Tuesday and Thursday. When I did go to class I found at that I’d miss a couple assignment s and had to immediately make up for them.

  4. Half way done • The ending of the first was a relief for me. I couldn’t believe that I made through. I’ve encountered some obstacles and learned how to overcome them and most importantly avoid them for the rest of my college career.

  5. A new start • The second semester was really a turning point for me. At this time I no longer felt like a freshman. I knew a lot more things and people and I felt like a true Western student. My main focus this semester was simple to get the best education I can and to have fun. I really didn’t have that much fun my first semester nor where my grades what I wanted. I focused on applying everything I’d learned to get the best grades I could and to have the best time I could.

  6. Work hard….play hard It would be right if I didn’t include some of the great times I’d had at Western. So here are some great pics…

  7. Coming to an end • Now that my first year is coming to an end I’m not really ready to leave. I’m starting to realize how much I’ve grown. I’ve learned so many new things and meant some amazing people. I just can’t believe how fast this year’s went. This one year has college has taught me enough information to last me a life time. This year was truly a learning experience for me and I can’t wait to return next fall to finish out my degree.

  8. A word of advice For all the upcoming freshman I’d like to give a couple things you should keep in mind when coming to Western. Just a word of advice.
