  2. Define Columbian Exchange: This was a very large widespread exchange of animals, plants, culture communicable diseases, and ideas between the Eastern and Western hemispheres this also included slaves.

  3. Europe Received: Potatoes; it’s a food and was a major crop. So not only did they bring food they also brought farming jobs..

  4. America Received: America received livestock such as cattle and pigs. These animals became a important food supply and they also they were used to pull carts and plows. They were also made into leather products and their droppings were used as food.

  5. The Effect: Cattle made the economy better because it gave us food, trade and leathers for warmth . They also gave us fuel and jobs. This is a positive effect.
