The Voice of Creativity

This creative writing program uses picture books to help high school students understand and master the elements of voice in writing. Students will explore diction, detail, imagery, syntax, and tone to develop their unique voice. By manipulating words and engaging their imagination, students will learn to write and think creatively while having fun. The workshop promotes self-expression and personal style, helping students recognize their voice as the "fingerprint" of their language, ultimately enhancing their communication skills in an impactful way.
