  1. Different Different Types Types Of Of Jib Jib Cranes: Cranes: Classified Classified According According To To Its Its Structure Structure Cranes are essential across many industry sectors. They are not only used in the construction industry but also industries like manufacturing, mining, automobile etc. There are many models of these lifting equipment, but the most commonly found are jib cranes, mainly in heavy-lifting applications. A wall mounted jib cranes or the fixed models are extremely efficient and flexible, mainly because of the number of benefits they provide. These types of cranes generally consist of a horizontal boom, attached on a vertical pivoting column, which can be either wall mounted or free standing. With the help of this structure, the jib crane is capable to lift and lower various materials within a fixed radius. Almost all the jib cranes are used for one single purpose, but every type is used for specific lifting application and they differ in terms of design, structure, operation, configuration and specifications. The different jib crane models are  Wall mounted: The fixed model is an economical alternative for freestanding jib cranes with a capability to rotate 200 degrees. They can be used to carry a weight of 5 tonnes. The travelling jib cranes are similar to fixed wall mounted cranes. They can travel more area lengthwise, along the walls, without causing any disturbance on the floor.  Mast type: This type of cranes is used in many industry sectors because it is similar to freestanding jib cranes in terms of lifting and rotating operation. The mast of the crane is supported by the floor and roof of the building. Drop cantilever and full cantilever are the two types of mast type. They are ideal for lifting 1 to 5 tons of weight. These cranes can be tailor-made to suit the customers’ requirements.  Freestanding jib crane: They are fixed on a solid concrete foundation on themselves, without any additional support. Most of these models can rotate 360 degrees, providing complete coverage. The different versions of these cranes are foundation mounted, base plate mounted, and sleeve inserted mounted, mainly differing in the way they are erected. Generally, they are used to lift 1 to 5 tonnes but can be modified to lift a weight of 15 tonnes. There may be other types of jib cranes, but these are the basic models. These lifting equipment play a major role in all industries, so top quality cranes should be bought from renowned companies. This is important to increase the safety of workers of the unit.
