Macrocell Development Goals: ASIC Library & Transceiver Design Overview (1999)

On May 17, 1999, we outlined the goals for macrocell development within our ASIC library. Our focus was on creating a standalone discrete transceiver for characterization and early production, utilizing a parallel development process. These macros comply with the Universal Transceiver Macro Interface (UTMI) specification and have been designed using a state-of-the-art 0.15um CMOS process to enhance performance and integration. This document summarizes our objectives for microelectronics advancement.
