INTRODUCTION • The quality of a Faculty can be measured by its Scientific Activity • The Scientific Activity can be classified based on the quantity and quality of its Scientific Publications • The Scientific Publications – Scientific Articles – quality is related to the Impact Factor (IF) (1;2) of the scientific journals in which they are publishedand to the Citation Number (3;4) of the article FIRST PRESENTATION INTRODUCTION TO MEDICINE DECEMBER 2006
