Leif and his crew left mark land and again found land’ which they named vineland that landed and built a small which they callledleifsbu’dir’ meaning leif storage houses suggesting the settlement was temporay. They found the area pleasast as there were wild grapes and plenty salmon in the river. The climate was mild, with little frost in the winter and green grass year-round they remain in region in the winter and return to greenland in spring carrying a cargo of timber.
