  2. To chat about schedules and MyPurdue • Questions about your schedules ? • When is the last day to drop a class with no records? To discuss Corporate Partners program (CPP) in CS • Did anyone attend the CPP pizza/bowling mixture last night? • http://www.cs.purdue.edu/external_relations/corporate/partners/ • The more time you spend with future employers, the more comfortable you are when interviewing for internships and later jobs.   4. To discuss Corporate Partners program (CPP) in CS • The Corporate Partners will be hosting a job fair this evening for students. This is where many CS seniors kicked their job search into high gear. Some of the companies will hire internships. Some of those students had 2 or 3 job offers by Nov. 6-9 pm PMU, south ballroom

  6. To examine parts of resumescenario #1 • Imagine you are applying for a job in Software engineering at Amazon. They are located in Seattle, WA. Your job will be in DATA Mining. You will be a part of the team that creates and upkeeps the feature that says: “Customers who bought this item also bought” • Salary will be $80/year. You will be giving a signing bonus of $20. You will receive stock options of $20. • What do you think the recruiters at Amazon will be looking for on this resume?

  7. To examine parts of resumescenario #2 • You are graduating in CS but your fiancé is still in school. You have to get a job in the Midwest. You would like to be a game developer. You interview with a small company in Champaign, IL. Your salary will be between $51-57. • What do you think the recruiter will be looking for on this resume?

  8. To examine parts of resumescenario #3 • You are an international student. You want to work in the United States, but you need a company to sponsor you. You want to intern with Merrill Lynch in New York City. • What do you think Merrill Lynch will be looking for on this resume?
