  2. The EASTBioPartnership was created in response to a new Biotechnology and Biological Sciences Research Council initiative, designed to provide enhanced PhD training in areas of strategic relevance to UK Bioscience

  3. BBSRC Goal: Professional Internships for PhD Students • (PIPS) • “to help students understand the context of their research and to expose them to the range of opportunities available to them after they graduate”

  4. 12 week paid internships can be in any field or sector
