  1. June 4, 2014 | Holyoke, ma Abimael Santana Engineer, resource analysis and integration DRWG Recent Changes in FCTS: Monitored CPS Screens

  2. Summary of Changes • Project-level non-commercial/commercial capacity information • Allocation of audit results to determine partial or full completion of projects on CPS monitoring

  3. Non-Commercial and Commercial Capacity Information • Additional information is now available for a project that is on critical path schedule monitoring • The following characteristics will be visible in FCTS for summer and winter values (DRV): • Non Commercial Capacity MW: Capacity remaining to be delivered to achieve full completion of the project • Terminated Capacity MW: Termination of the project’s non-commercial capacity (Tariff sections III.13.3.4(c) and III.13.3.6) • Commercial Capacity MW: Capacity demonstrated in an audit, exceeding the resource’s most-recently established commercial capacity, and attributed to the project

  4. Non Commercial/Commercial Capacity

  5. Monitored Capacity Allocation • Initially, the project is entirely non-commercial • As the resource performs audits, capacity moves from non-commercial to commercial • If the project, or a portion of it, is terminated, the amount moves to the terminated component

  6. Allocation of Audit Results • Audit results will be allocated to projects on CPS monitoring as follows: • The commercial capacity increase is calculated based on the commercial values for the current Capacity Commitment Period • For resources with multiple projects, the increase is allocated in chronological order based on when the project was approved • Summer audit results apply to both summer and winter DRV • Winter audit results apply to winter DRV only • Project is deemed complete when its summer non commercial capacity has been reduced to zero
