  4. Public Examination • Exam on each module • 2 hrs 30 mins each • Two parts • Part A  Data-based Question (all compulsory) • Part B  DBQ / article (4  1)

  5. Independent Enquiry Studies • Topic: either interpersonal relation or Hong Kong studies • 3500 – 5000 words • hand in topic and proposal before 2nd term (Feb) in Form 6 to HKEAA • Hand in the whole project before Feb in Form 7 • Remarks:  如電腦打印的專題報告超越6000字，考生同時須呈交電子版本報告（該電子版本毋需包括附錄，並可以磁碟或光碟形式錄製），附於報告內一併繳交。  由2009 年起， 如考生無法完成校本評核， 其成績單上校本評核部分(專題研究報告) 的評級將為「不予評級」。

  6. 警 告 • 如發現考生抄襲他人的著作，將受嚴厲處分，甚或被取消在整個高級程度會考的考試資格。 • 每份專題研究報告的內容應為三千五百— 五千字（ 不包括圖、表、標題、註釋、附錄、附件、參考資料等） 。考生須在報告末段列明字數。任何報告的字數逾六千， 將被扣減分數。

  7. 分數扣減詳情 • 扣減分數工作由考評局負責。在「內容」一項最多扣減三分。扣減分數方法如下： • 6,001−7,000 字扣減一分； • 7,001 至8,000 字扣減兩分； • 超過8 ,000 字扣減三分。 • 老師須將超過六千字的報告在綜合成績紀錄表內列明字數。

  8. 評分的四項因素 • 第 一 項 因 素－ 內 容 （ 比重=3） • 第 二 項 因 素－ 原 創 性（ 比重=2） • 第 三 項 因 素－ 表 達形式（ 比重=1） • 第 四 項 因 素－ 自 發 性（ 比重=1）

  9. 考生所擬定的建議計劃 • 扼要的標題 • 輔以標題解說和/或研究目的、對象、研究假說和/或焦點問題和研究方法。 • 合適的研究方法 • 例如，實地考察、訪問、個案研究、文本分析或問卷調查 • 若採用問卷調查， 須留意抽樣數目是否配合題目要求。
