  2. Our objective • Our mission is to give people a better life by providing them with a warm meal

Current situation • The room I’m currently in is a 7x7 foot room in dimension making it hard to maneuver around things • The Lack of employees requires me to spend hours after my shift ends to get the work done on time • The technology is old and unreliable, the computers crash at random times and we’re using out dated software programs to organize our files and donations

  5. Actions • Rent a larger room: $200.00 a month ($2,400.00 annually) for a 20x20 foot room. It better advertises our cause and gives me plenty of room to work. • Hire two people: This will allow more work to get done and we will only be paying them $10.50 an hour • Buy new technology: Buying new computers, printers, scanners, and software it would make things quicker and more organized. There would also be less of a chance it would fail on us and we’d lose progress.

  6. Recommendation • replace all our old computers with either Acer or Toshiba computers • Screen size: 11.6” (touch screen) • Hard Drive Space: 250 Gigabyte • Accessories: 1 USB 3.0 port and 1 USB 2.0 port, built in high definition webcam and analog microphone, and media reader • Weight: 3 lbs.

  7. Implement • quadruple the amount of work I will be able to get done each week • give me 7 more hours to do other work for our organization • better get to know our contributors and get about 20 new contributors a week

  8. Evaluate • Feed 100 more people • Expand to 5 more cities • Better advertise our cause • We will have about 20 contributors and 50 contributions

  9. Conclusion • New computers, more employees, and a larger work space would be extremely beneficial to this organization. It would allow us to get more work done quicker and easier.
