1. Whoever you marry must have been in love with Jesus before they met you.

Proverbs 20:7 says this: “A righteous person lives on the basis of his integrity… Love is based on trust, and trust is based on truth. If you don’t tell me the truth, I can’t trust you. And if I can’t trust you, how can I love you?

*Tamar-had issues with in-laws, no luck in marriage. *Rahab- was a prostitute. *Ruth- immigrant, widow. *Manasseh- blood-thirsty king. *Jacob- deceived his own father. *His family called him crazy. Did not believe in Him.
Which teaches us two things: 1. Jesus’ family had issues you can relate to.
2. Jesus’ family had issues they needed to be redeemed from.
Acts 16:29 The jailer called for lights and ran to the dungeon and fell down trembling before Paul and Silas. 30 Then he brought them out and asked, “Sirs, what must I do to be saved?” 31 They replied, “Believe in the Lord Jesus and you will be saved, along with everyone in your household.” 32 And they shared the word of the Lord with him and with all who lived in his household.
