Kuralon PVA • Method of Preperation • vinyl acetate polymerized to polyvinyl acetate • saponified to polyvinyl alcohol • dissolved in H2O and wet spun into an aqueous salt bath • resulting yarn is stretched, heat treated, reacted with formaldehyde to 30% degree of substitution • Availability • continuous multifilament • monofilament • staple fiber • comes in black, blue, or green

  5. Kuralon PVA - FRC • Designed for long-term concrete crack control. • 1lb/yard^3 reduces shrinkage cracking +40% after 28 days. • Makes for a 50% improvement when compared to other polypropylene fibers • recomended 1-2lbs/yard to reduce plastic and long term shrinkage.
