  3. Problems • Miserable life with the Dursley’s • Problems with Professor Snape • The secret being guarded by the three-headed dog

  4. Solutions • Harry’s admission to Hogwarts rescues him from the Dursley’s house • His heroic actions prevent the return of Voldemort

Summary • Harry Potter finds out he is a wizard and is admitted to Hogwarts school, enabling him to leave his miserable home with the Dursley’s. • He makes many new friends as well as some enemies at Hogwarts • He finds out Voldemort is still alive but his heroic actions at the end prevent his return
