WHAT IS JOB SHADOWING? • A short-term educational experience • An increased knowledge of an area of work or job role that you might be considering in the future • Experience of learning about a company or career by experiencing it in person in the shadow of a working professional • Supports students as they the connection between textbook learning & real world application • Have opportunity to ask questions of a professional & get real answers • Allows you to experience how the same job can be different depending on its setting
