  2. Who am I? • J. D. Roaden: Recitation / Lab TA for section 401. • http://www.pa.uky.edu/~jroaden/ • j.d.roaden@uky.edu • Office hours: Tentatively 4:30 PM on Monday and Wednesday

  3. When do we meet? • Recitation, Monday and Wednesday at 5:30 PM in CP-287 • Lecture with Steve Ellis: Tuesday and Thursday at 5:30 PM in CP-155 • Lab on Monday at 6:30-8:20 PM in CP-165 starting on September 8th.

  4. Transmitters • You’ll need them for Steve’s lecture, and my lab and recitation. • It is impossible to get full credit without them. • Must be RF, not RI or others. • Register them at Steve’s Website.

  5. Who is Steve? • Your lecturer. • http://www.pa.uky.edu/~ellis/ • You can find the course syllabus on this site as well. • Try to read the syllabus for this course before lecture tomorrow.

  6. Webassign • We’ll be using an online homework system called Webassign. It’s at www.webassign.com • Your first homework assignments are posted and due on Wednesday, September 3rd by 5 PM. • Your username is your first initial followed by your last name. For instance, mine would be jroaden. • Your password is password. Please change it after you get logged in!

  7. Calculators • Calculator use is allowed, encouraged, and required. • Must be TI-83, TI-83+, TI-84, or TI-84+. Or silver or some such similar version. The TI-84+ Silver is the recommended one if you haven’t bought one yet.
