  2. Feeding and Eating Disorders of Infancy or Early Childhood • Note: Anorexia and Bulimia are now in an “Eating Disorders” category, no longer in ‘Disorders first diagnosed in infancy, childhood, or adolescence” • Pica • Rumination Disorder • Feeding disorder of infancy or early childhood

  3. Gender Identity Disorders • No longer is there a separate disorder for kids, just notes in adult section • Gender identity disorder in children = pre-pubertal. Desire to be, or insistence they are, of the opposite sex. Distress about not being the opposite sex. • In adolescents, typically there is cross dressing (though not for excitement), and preoccupation with getting rid of primary and secondary sex characteristics

  4. Tic Disorders • Tourettes – Multiple motor and vocal tics • Chronic Motor or Vocal Tic Disorder • Transient Tic Disorder

  5. Elimination Disorders • Encopresis • With constipation and overflow incontinence vs without constipation and overflow incontinence • Enuresis

  6. Communication Disorders • Expressive Language Disorder • Mixed Receptive and Expressive Language Disorder • Phonological Disorder • Stuttering • Communication Disorder NOS

  7. Other Disorders of Infancy, Childhood, and Adolescence • Selective mutism • Separation Anxiety Disorder • Reactive Attachment Disorder • Stereotypic Movement Disorder
