  1. NAHS MEETING #2 Welcome Back!!!

  2. First Order Of Business: • Forms are due. • Please put them into the box which has your grade level on it (if you have not already done so). • Then have a seat. Thank

ART CARD SUBMISSIONS • Hard copies needed so that we can set them up while selecting • For digital media: Again, hard copy needed. • Doesn’t have to be big print. • Make sure you have a digital version to give us if your piece is selected • If not, then make sure the print can be properly photographed (i.e. not glossy). • Due by Friday 4th of Oct • Put in the back on shelf labeled “ART CARD SUBMISSIONS” • Tell Mrs. Reedy or one of us that you are doing so. • You can submit up to 2 pieces (traditional or photoshop) • Each entry is 2 points.

  4. FUNDRAISER • Art Card fundraiser will begin next week!! Form will be distributed next week. • 8 sets of cards NEED TO BE SOLD • If you can’t sell 8 sets, you need to sell 2 shirts PER set not sold. • This is MANDATORY • Note: If you are in an art class and are attending VASE competition second semester, you can sell 10 sets and NAHS pays $10 of the entry fee. • But sell as many as you can because MONEY.

  5. VOLUNTEERING • Homecoming!!! • They plan on starting NEXT WEEK so keep tabs on the website for updates. • We will participate Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays (unless otherwise mentioned). • Sign-ups will be online

  6. VOLUNTEERING contd. • 6 people per shift. First come first serve. • OFFICERS WILL BE PRESENT • Sign ups will be online after the next meeting (p.s. that’s on the 24th of October) • Austin Parkway Elementary- we have a face painting workshop • 25th October. WRITE IT DOWN ON YOUR CALENDAR • 2 shifts; 5:30-6:15 and 6:15 to 8:00

  7. VOLUNTEERING contd. • Volunteer Log Sheets are currently being handed out. • Will be uploaded online today. • Check the website  • Clementsnahs.wordpress.com • 4 hours from NAHS activities (like the ones previously mentioned) • *hint hint* HOMECOMING*hint hint* • 3 from anything • Total: 7

Nancy Drew 11th • Only this part can be used for more NAHS points, YES hours etc. Homecoming (9/30/2013) –painting banners 2 This part stays with us when you take it back at the end of semester. Interact(9/28/2013)-packing 1 books You only get 3 points here • HOURS HAVE TO BE FROM THIS YEAR!!! • You will need a form from the organization (yes form or otherwise) to show that you were there. • Organization signature can be an officer signature from club or sponsor of the activity. • ONLY THEN WILL WE SIGN
