  1. History W. O. Grubb is the leading provider of crane rental and steel erection services in the East Coast and Midwest. W.O. Grubb was founded in the 1960's with a basic concept, which was to provide high quality steel erection services, equipment, manpower and superior responsiveness to our customers. Since 1985, Grubb has grown to offer diversified services to meet the needs of large industrial construction projects.

Service Regions & Locations Local Branches Serving: Washington D.C., Baltimore, MD., Richmond, VA., Northern VA., and Tidewater VA., We service the East Coast and Midwest from our National Sales Branch located in Richmond, VA and also through our satellite offices spread-out around the country.

Work History • Constructing wind farms in: Texas, Oklahoma, Illinois, Iowa, New Jersey, New York, and West Virginia, by erecting the towers and lifting the turbines and blades into place. • Assisting in regular maintenance and repairs of the same wind farms • Steel construction and critical lifts for environmental upgrades and expansion projects for numerous fossil fuel plants. • Performing lifts for scheduled maintenance and upgrading heavy equipment and building for oil refineries. • Regular maintenance and scheduled outages for nuclear power plants. • Upgrades and maintenance during outages for gas turbine power plants.
