  2. multidisciplinary solutions to meet the changing needs of operational environments • towards deeper cooperation with selected partners • the overriding development theme in operational strategies is to strengthen our customer base and partnerships • the ultimate goal of partnership programme is a long-lasting, stable, comprehensive and mutually beneficial collaboration • from business partners’ point of view, collaboration with TAMK will create new business opportunities, particularly at the interface of different industries and enterprises research & development

TAMK R&D programmes 1 Technology Applicationtargets • development of energy efficiency in buildings and facilities, and reduction of environmental impacts • efficiency of mobile machinery • assessment of human activity in genuine operational environments • development of new business opportunities

  4. TAMK R&D programmes 2 Wellbeing Focusareas • development of services for seniors, including promotion of wellbeing entrepreneurship and development of wellbeing technology • promotion of wellbeing at work • promotion of children’s and adolescents’ health

  5. TAMK R&D programmes 3 Culture Activitiesfocus on • integration of various fields to create internationally competitive cultural products with a strong regional flavour • promotion of networking opportunities for companies • helping the development of culture products for the export market

  6. 30 RDI projects with financing from outside sources • total budget of 3 million euros (2011) • external project funding mainly from Europe • European Regional Development Fund ERDF • European Social Fund ESF • funding from the Finnish Funding Agency for Technology and Innovation is increasing • TAMK’s international RDI projects in EU programmes • Automatisierung und Deutsch im Online-Kurs (ADOK) • EuropeanAcousticHeritage (EAH) • IGUAL – Innovation for Equality in Latin American University (Innovaciónpara la iGualdad en la Universidad de America Latina) • Mathematical and AppliedLogic (MALog) • Horizon 2020 is the nextchallenge projects autumn 2012
