They often attach themselves to other files, such as email attachments or downloaded programs. When the infected file is opened, the virus will copy itself to the computer and start spreading. 02

  3. W o r m s Worms are another type of malware that can spread from one computer to another without the need for human interaction. They often exploit security vulnerabilities in operating systems or software programs. Worms can cause a variety of problems, such as shutting down computers, stealing data, or disrupting network traffic. 03

  4. T r o j a n s Trojans are a type of malware that masquerades as a legitimate program. When the Trojan is opened, it will install malicious code on the computer. Trojans can steal data, install other malware, or take control of the computer. 04
