ΒΒS Management System • BBS systems are manageable through an SNMP agent that is accessable in two ways: • in-band through an ATM connection using RFC 1483 encapsulation or • out-of-band through an RS-232 Craft Interface on the faceplate of BBS10. • The tasks performed using the BBS EMS software are: • Network configuration • Configuration / reconfiguration of E1 and ADSL parameters • Addition / Removal of VCs/VPs • Assignment of communication and alarm profiles • Monitoring of E1 and ADSL port status • System upgrade viaTFTP
